This policy explains how Calculated Tuning, LLC handles information received through calculatedtuning.com, Facebook and Instagram advertising, Messenger, email, phone, and our calibration and support services.

Information we receive

We receive information you choose to provide when you contact us, request a quote, complete a form, or arrange services. This can include:

• Your name, business name, email address, phone number, location, and social-media contact or profile information made available with your inquiry.
• Your vehicle, engine, ECU, modifications, tuning goals, operating concerns, and other project details.
• Calibration files, datalogs, photographs, supporting documents, correspondence, service authorizations, electronic-waiver records, and transaction or service history.
• Your responses to questions in our advertising or messaging conversations.

Our hosting and communications providers may also process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser or device information, request times, and delivery or security logs, when you use these services. Please do not send passwords, full payment-card details, Social Security numbers, or other unrelated sensitive information through our general forms or messages.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, review project suitability and readiness, prepare quotes, coordinate scheduling, provide calibration and diagnostic support, communicate about requested work, process estimates and invoices, maintain service and authorization records, and meet legitimate business, security, and legal needs. When you submit an inquiry, we may respond using Messenger, email, phone, or another contact method you provide.

Service providers and sharing

Relevant information is processed by providers that support our business, such as Meta for Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger; Netlify for website hosting and forms; Cloudflare for file storage; Google Workspace for email and collaboration; Quo for business calls and messages; and Intuit QuickBooks and payment providers for estimates, invoicing, and payments. These providers also have their own privacy policies and terms.

We may share project information with a shop, vehicle owner, or service partner you authorize us to coordinate with. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal requests, protect rights or safety, or address fraud or misuse. We do not sell inquiry details to data brokers.

Website storage and third-party platforms

Our forms and waiver workflow use browser storage to carry information and submission status between pages. You can manage cookies and stored site data through your browser, although clearing or blocking storage may interrupt a form in progress. Third-party platforms, including Meta, may use their own cookies, identifiers, and advertising technologies under their own policies. Information submitted on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, or a payment provider's service is also subject to that platform's practices.

Retention and protection

We retain information as needed to handle inquiries, perform and support services, maintain transaction and authorization records, resolve disputes, and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. Retention depends on the type of record and its purpose. We use reasonable safeguards to protect business records; no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
